Enhancing Spatial Awareness Skills using Google SketchUp Dale Porter Department of Construction Management Teaching spatial visualization skills is a priority in Construction Management (CM) education. This session will address the use of 3-Dimensional models—often generated with Building Information Modeling software—to enhance the learning experience. Construction Management literature on the subject is both inconclusive and non-definitive on this topic, however, similar academic fields—such as engineering—have begun reporting limited success using them as teaching tools.
